CIRCLES Firekeepers and Lodge Chiefs

                                                                  FIREKEEPERS

Firekeepers are the officers who safeguard the safety of all who attend ceremony offered by the Church and the Circles of Empowerment.  Issues of fire safety, security, and the safeguarding of the sacredness of our various ceremonies are all attended to and watched over by the Firekeepers.

If you wish to train as a Firekeeper or Water Pourer, you must first take the Empowerment Through Ritual and Ceremony classes offered by Hua.  Then you may pass tobacco and your request will be honored and taken seriously.

Feel free to speak with Lead Firekeeper Arrow or any of the other Firekeepers who have earned the right to serve in this sacred position for guidance about your own desire to become a Firekeeper.

NEW: OPEN CALL TO LEARN FIREKEEPING

Training on Saturday Aug 13th, 2011 10am - 4 pm with potluck lunch. Donation.

To all firekeepers (Long Dance Fire lodge) and to those brothers and sisters that are drawn to the Fire way: We welcome you to join us in this teaching. We will present everything you need to learn in order to take on this special Medicine Way: the physicality (hands on), the energetics of how to communicate and be in connection with fire, how to be in correct relationship with fire, service, and whatever births in the moment.

While it is not an absolute requirement, we strongly suggest that you have the Empowerment thru Ritual and Ceremony class as part of your Firekeeper training.  There is one scheduled for August 20 & 21st, 2011.

Come join us for a powerful day. We will be at the Arroyo Grande site 750 Carpenter Cyn Rd. Those that are out of town or state can possibility attend via phone or maybe Oovoo video chat. Let Hua know if that is a possibility for you.

Please Call Arrow to confirm your presence at this meeting. 805.202.1149
We want to hear from ALL Firekeepers ~ whether you are going to dance or not, please.
